StylPro Brush Cleaner Review

Everyone hates cleaning their makeup brushes right? Well, I’m yet to find anyone who ‘enjoys’ this task. And, being honest, we don’t clean them as often as we should.

So, I have @zoewarlow_ to thank for her life changing recommendation of a StylPro cleaner, which has literally changed my life too!

I purchased mine for £40 from Boots, ok, so not cheap, but it’s worth it – honestly. Many bloggers have discounted it because of it’s price, but when you factor in the HOURS it saves, to me it’s a no brainer.

Essentially, you’re paying for a high speed brush ‘twirler’ which has rubber attachments which have so far, fitted all of my brushes, from multiple brands. It spins the brush in the removing cleanser and immediately, the makeup falls away. In fact, the solution is so good, it starts working before you spin. You do receive a sample of cleanser, but I purchased a large bottle for £25 – again, worth the cost.

After a few seconds of spinning, you raise the brush and continue to spin to dry the bristles.  For larger brushes, you quickly have to reshape using your fingers, but then you’re good to go! It takes less than a minute. Gone are the days of scrubbing, pouring cleaners onto brush heads and leaving over night to dry, preying they’ll be ok to use in the morning. Plus, it’s fun to use the StylPro!

On my first use, I did have to refresh the cleansing liquid for my foundation brush three times to get it completely clean, due to a build up of product. But now that I can clean more regularly, the build up doesn’t occur. Some bloggers have noticed bristles coming lose after multiple uses. I definitely haven’t, so I’d thoroughly recommend.

  1. I keep seeing these on Instagram and I want one as it will definitely work for my bigger brushes which take forever to clean and dry in the winter!

  2. Just read your post here. I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. What type of makeup brush do you typically use? What about a brand? Is there one that you like best? I’m kind of new to this makeup thing and there’s just so many to choose from… Thanks!
