This lash building mascara from Rommel includes nylon fibres that help to naturally extend lashes. They attach to your own lashes, creating a false lash effect. Well, in theory, this is what should happen.
I liked that the wand was thin for close to root application. It applied a little clumpy, but I didn’t mind that as I like my lashes to have a thicker look. However, I couldn’t be certain if the lashes looked longer, but they looked thicker.
Sadly, by mid morning, it was all under my eyes. I had someone ask if I was ok – not something I’d expect from my mascara. I had to remove black smudges and reapply concealer. Annoyingly, this happened again by mid afternoon, and my eyes felt a little irritated. It was though I had contact lenses in, which I can only assume was loose fibres.
I’m reluctant to try this again, but I do use multiple other products from this brand. I think it’s important for you to read honest reviews – both the good and the bad!
Thanks for the honest review. I have never tried much products by Rimmel only lipsticks and I love them. For mascaras I mostly go for L’Oréal mascaras. 🙂

Oh no, a mascara that gets smudged under the eye is a bit disappointing. Loved the review and yes, Rimmel is a pretty good brand and I love most of their products, but somethings just don’t work 🙂

I had the same problem with this one with it going on clumpy. I’m sorry you then had problems throughout the day with it, mine didn’t seem to do it, but some products are different with people. I do love seeing an honest review for products!
