Welcome to my 2022 Christmas Gift Guide! These are all gifts I own and have sampled, or gifts I’ve requested myself for Christmas. A mixture of well known brands and smaller businesses to support.
Earthy Nail Polish
Earthy Nail Polish are award winning eco-conscious brand whose natural origin nail polishes and treatments are vegan and cruelty free. They have replaced the single use plastic cap with highly sustainable bamboo and all seals within the cap are made from 100% post-consumer plastic. They have a wide range of colours and also treatments for your nails. I got to try this pretty trio and they all apply really nicely and last for days without chipping. Once empty, they offer a Recycle Reuse Programme which is a great addition.
Veo is a collection of unique, independent, sustainable, vegan brands across fashion, beauty, food, health, and home – all in one place. Veo believe that sustainable living shouldn’t mean sacrificing your style or quality but conscious consumers can be safe in the knowledge that products are kind, healthy and sustainable.
They have been independently verified as the UK’s most sustainable online shopping site by Ethical Consumer. I like that there’s 270 brands to choose from for sustainable Christmas gifts and gift cards are available too. I chose a gorgeous duo from The Little Piece Company; Soy Wax Aromatherapy Candle & Natural Himalayan Bath Salts in scent ‘Cleanse’ and ‘Uplifting’.
The candle is soy wax and infused with organic essential oils. It is produced from soybeans which are harvested in North America. The Himalayan Crystal Bath Salts are made using 100% natural and organic ingredients and considered to be detoxifying and mineral rich. It contains a natural blend of 84 precious minerals including magnesium, potassium, and calcium as well as Organic Coconut Oil to soothe and nourish the skin.
I have now been using Spectrum Collections brushes for about 5 years. Spectrum was started by two sisters, Sophie and Hannah in April 2014 from a garage in Barry, South Wales, UK. They’re vegan and cruelty free, using soft, synthetic brushes. They do regular new ranges and mystery bundles. Using my code; SCG5KG56 you can get 20% any purchase.
The Body Shop
This year, The Body Shop released the Edelweiss collection which is a glow up of their fan favourite Drops Of Youth range. I’m finishing off the Edelweiss Intense Smoothing Day Cream and my skin has loved it. It’s a thick, nourishing cream – perfect for dry skin. Edelweiss is a rare mountain flower that grows in Alpine environments. It’s only found at very high altitudes. Edelweiss is naturally strengthened by leontopodic acid known for its antioxidant properties. The cream is non-greasy but instantly plumping. I hear great things about the serum too and this is next on my list. A great gift for a skincare enthusiast.
I’ve recently discovered two new fragrances; Libre by YSL and La Vie est Belle by Lancôme.
The latter is represented by Julia Roberts, it has magnolia essence, pear and blackberry with orange flower and jasmine sambac at the heart. It’s base is patchouli essence that has been sustainably sourced and bottled in an eco-conscious, refillable bottle.
The Libre Eau De Parfum fronted by Dua Lips has very quickly grown on me. It’s quite sophisticated and not my usual scent ingredients, but I really love this floral combination. Top notes of Tangerine, Neroli & Lavender. Heart notes of Jasmine Sambac & Orange Blossom. Base notes of White Musk & Vanilla Extract.

Dermalogica have been my favourite brand for many years. They’re in a more premium bracket in terms of cost, but definitely worth the investment.
They’ve got a great range of gift sets available this year, I’ve been trying out the The Peel Power-Up Set worth over £60. It contains:
-Special Cleansing Gel 50ml
Dermalogica’s #1 selling cleanser, globally. Soap-free, foaming gel cleanses all skin conditions and contains naturally-foaming quillaja saponaria, gently rinses away toxins and debris to leave skin feeling smooth and clean.

A skin brightening complex of phytic acid from rice bran, white tea and liquorice help balance uneven skin tone while a super-soothing blend of colloidal oatmeal and allantoin helps calm skin.
-Rapid Reveal Peel – 3 X Tubes Travel Size 3ml
A unique complex of phytoactive aha extracts, lactic acid and fermented plant enzymes helps reveal new, firmer skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by removing dulling surface debris without causing dehydration. I’ve asked for a top up of my favourite duo;

Charlotte Tilbury have always done the best lipsticks, a personal favourite is shade ‘Very Victoria’. This Christmas, I’ve requested to get the latest Beautiful Skin Sun-kissed Glow Bronzer.
I also really recommend their Glow Toner, pore-refining, acid-free hydrating toner with niacinamide for baby soft, smooth feeling skin and pores that appear reduced!

There are so many great ideas here! I love YSL Libre, it’s such a beautiful scent. I haven’t heard of the nail polish brand before, but I love that they’ve replaced the plastic lid with bamboo, what a good idea. The orange shade looks especially pretty. I hope you have a lovely Christmas xx
