Dermaplaning, the new skincare buzz word. But what is it?
Dermaplaning is fast becoming a beauty phenomenon. The purpose of dermaplaning is to take off the ‘peach fuzz’ hair and dead skin cells blocking pores on your face. Removing the top layer of skin, helps your skincare products to absorb better. I must insist – painlessly.

After cleansing, use a dermaplaning blade from your jawline upwards. At a 45° angle, the blade softly takes away any fine hairs. It’s protected so that it doesn’t hurt or scratch the skin. It removes dead skin and excess hair anywhere on your face, including eyebrows, you can read more about that here.
That peach fuzz on your chin? gone. Any lip hair? Gone. Of course, this also means that there is less hair to trap dirt and oils, so dermaplaning promotes clearer skin.
The idea of the blade can be intimidating at first, but it really doesn’t hurt. You can also use it to sculpt your brows and rid of any unwanted hairs on your lip…
Lots of salons are offering this treatment, but you can do your own at home. It’s quick and inexpensive. The results speak for themselves!

I’ve had dermaplanning done before and loved it but never thought about doing it on myself. These look great I will have a look into them. Thanks for sharing x
