Roccabox Staycation Box Review

Roccabox is a UK beauty subscription box, which introduces affordable beauty brands. May’s box was the ‘Staycation’ edit. With the current lockdown situation, many of us have missed holidays or have needed an extra boost of self care. This box is perfect for a pamper session at home.

Due to popular demand, Roccabox have three versions of the Staycation edit, I was kindly gifted version three. This included six products (two full sized), retailing at £10(+pp) but with a value of over £42.

Roccabox tip: Add a small amount of MONUSpa Ginger & Lemongrass Body Oil to a warm bath or under the shower just before rinsing, the oil will instantly emulsify into a milk to leave your skin nourished with no oily residue.

Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Hair Healer

After your bath/shower, it’s worth giving your hair a treat too. This leave-in conditioner includes argan oil, coconut oil and abyssinian oil to restore damaged hair. Apply to clean, damp hair and style as normal. No rinsing required.

I and you should wear SPF on your face all year round. But, particularly with the increased activity in the sun during the summer. Lots of people are enjoying their gardens during lockdown, but don’t forget to protect your face! As I’ve still been teaching, this mini tube has been perfect for my handbag and topping up throughout the day.

AfterSpa Magic Makeup Remover Cloths

I love these cloths! I’ve collected a few different brands of them and they’re all brilliant. The AfterSpa cloth is no exception. It’s so soft and gentle on skin and most importantly – it works! It really does remove your makeup with just warm water. This cloth is just bigger than my hand, but is usable on both sides. You need to machine wash before your first use, but then it is reusable. I also used this to remove my peeling mask!

FURR 3D Faux Mink Lashes
The lock down period has introduced many of us to Zoom calls! I’m guilty myself of putting make up on (and a nice top) purely for the meeting. These lashes can help with that look! This design is called ‘Gala’, they include glue adhesive.
