CODE LIP and CODE SSL Review

Code is a boutique brand established in 2014. They are firmly against animal testing with most products being vegan friendly.

Once we’ve started a product, we don’t move on until we’ve cracked the code. Only then will we put our name on it.

CODE-SSL-Soft-Smooth-Liner and CODE LIP Lip Intense Plumper

I was kindly gifted their CODE LIP Lip Intense Plumper and the CODE SSL Soft Smooth Lip Liner for reviewing purposes.

Firstly, the CODE SSL lip liner is self sharpening – which is always handy. It’s a neutral nude shade which applies really smoothly. I found it lasted throughout the day too. It was non drying and a lovely addition to my collection. It gives a natural, sculpted look. It contains a lip plumping ingredient to stimulate collagen. They recommend that after lining the lips, you draw vertical lines and then rub lips together.

The CODE LIP Intense Plumper is a lovely gloss with a slight pink hue. It’s subtle for daily wear, or over a chosen lipstick. Now, compared to others, the ‘tingle’ effect, was subtle. This is great entry product if you’re looking to naturally plump your lips. It doesn’t hurt and the tingle doesn’t linger. It does naturally make you pout more, but unfortunately, it can’t replace lip surgery!
