Resveratrol[Lift] Face Lifting Soft Cream Review

Thank you once again to Caudalie for sending me their LIMITED EDITION discovery size of the iconic Face Lifting Soft Cream (worth £23). A great way to try the cream, without investing in the full sized pot.

Of course, all views are my own.

The Face Lifting Soft Cream includes lifting peptides, firming hyaluronic acid and resveratrol 500 – thought to act like an antioxidant and found in the skin of red grapes. What I particularly like, is that it’s an anti-wrinkle cream suitable for sensitive AND dry skin.

But, the most amazing thing is that 100% of testers found that it firmed their skin!

My Thoughts

I really like the smaller pot size, as sometimes investing in a new, full sized product can be a gamble. This is a great way to try it without a hefty price tag. The pot is really attractive with frosted pink glass and a silver lid.

I tested the Resveratrol[Lift] Face Lifting Soft Cream twice a day for seven days. Pleasantly, the cream is really light and has mattifying powders which makes it an excellent priming base. It smooths the skin’s surface and definitely leaves your skin feeling soft. (They say like cashmere.) You can definitely feel it on your skin – but not in a greasy way. I do feel that it has helped to firm my skin and it definitely helps to fill pores and wrinkles; but I’d like to use this for the full 82 days that was used in the original trial, as I expect the results to be even better.

93% of the ingredients are natural and no parabens or sulfates. Caudalie are against animal testing too.

However, my only complaint is that I found the smell to be quite strong. It is scented with lavender water, which isn’t one of my favourite scents. But most people do really like lavender, so this is a minor flaw.
