My Little Beauty Box – June

Now, when it comes to beauty boxes, it’s all about value for money right? Finding great products at a bargain price. However, sometimes it’s worth investing a little more to ensure you really get high quality, premium products.

My Little Beauty Box retails at £35 a month. But, it includes at least 4 full sized, high end beauty products.

To be exact, June’s box included;

  • M.A.C. Cream Colour Base
  • M.A.C. Patentpolish Lip Pencil
  • Laura Geller Limited Edition ‘The Wearables’ palette
  • Yves Saint Laurent contouring brush
  • Bowe Organics lash oil

All full sized.

Plus:

  • Laura Geller DramaLash sample sized
  • Cadbury’s Crunchie snack size

Usually, each box also contains a wax melt or candle, but I’m not sure what happened to that in June’s box.

This box was just amazing. Every product made me oo and ahh! I’ve been wanting to try M.A.C. for awhile. So, to finally get my hands on two M.A.C. products of my own, was a dream come true. The Cream Colour Base is a very pale, pearl eyeshadow cream – great as a center lid highlight. It is also a perfect primer, helping to keep my shadow in place. It’s suitable VBas a cheek highlighter or lip cream too!

The lipstick is in shade ‘Look Lively’ which is a lovely pink shade, yet not too bright. I’ve been using it all week as it’s subtle enough for work, but just adds that pop of colour. These two products alone retail for £37.

Another well know brand is Yves Saint Laurent. And, from this brush alone, I can see why. The bristles are so soft and sculpted to help you contour whatever your face shape. It’s made me want the full collection!

Let’s all just take a moment to appreciate these gorgeous baked shadows from Laura Geller – worth £32. Day and night shades, they’re all totally wearable. Described as densely pigmented and I honestly couldn’t agree more. They last all day without fading and the palettes themselves are domed, which means no scraping the last bits out!

To go with the look, a generous sample size of ‘ Dramalash’ with an XXL brush was also in everybox as an extra. This includes vitamin B5 to help nourish your lashes.

Finally, Bowe Organics Lash oil was a new brand to me. This full sized bottle would retail at £19.99 and is designed to thicken and lengthen lashes. I’ve been applying at night using just a drop on the end of my finger. It’s easy to run into the roots and it doesn’t sting your eyes. By morning, by lids definitely felt the mosturising benefit too.

Of course, there was the Crunchie too. But that didn’t last long!

I didn’t think MLB could top last month’s box, but they absolutely did!

  2. I think that’s a great deal since you get high quality full size products in a box. I have never tried this kind of subscription but it seems interesting to get a box and try something new, experience the products on my own 😃
