Latest In Beauty is a beauty subscription service where you select how many and, which products you want. Choose from 3, 6 or 9 products with free delivery. New products are introduced each month and include top brands and new discoveries.
Amazingly, I was sent a box of 9 products (of my choice) to review. In addition, there was numerous samples to try – the box was literally bursting!
The catalogue is divided into eight categories; makeup, hair, nails, accessories, skin care, bath & body, unisex and natural. There really is something for everyone, including vegan friendly products.
I chose the following products:
- Sally Hanson Miracle Gel duo
- Sally Hanson Complete Salon Manicure
- Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Hibiscus
- Burt’s Bees Natural Lipstick in shade ‘Sunset Cruise’
- Lord & Berry Matte Crayon Lipstick In shade ‘Chic’
- Natural and Organic Lip crayon in shade ‘pink’
- MaskerAide Detox Diva mask
- Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask
- Dirty Works slanted tweezers
+Some samples from We Are Tea and PopChips
If you haven’t yet tried Sally Hansen nail polish, then you absolutely must. It is THE best polish for application and durability. I’ve yet to find one that lasts as long without chipping. The duo kit came with a gel top coat, which only extends the life even more. 10/10 from me.
Burt’s Bees are a go to brand for me when looking for natural ingredients. I carry lip balm everywhere – in my coat, pockets, drawers, bags and even on my bedside table. So, it’s nice to have a tinted one for a day time pick me up. They have other fragrances, such as Strawberry, but the Hibiscus smells so lovely, I couldn’t recommend it any higher. Similarly, the lipstick is creamy and tastes nice! The shade ‘Sunset Cruise’ is a dark, deep pink great for both day and night. It’s not too bold, but it isn’t understated either. I like the packaging, it’s very aesthetically pleasing!
Lord & Berry are a brand I have come across many times through subscription services. I currently use their eye pencil (which by the way, lasts for ages!). I selected the bright ‘Chic’ shade as I thought it was a fun, summer colour. However, this Matte Crayon’s shade was actually very, very slight. It was more of a gloss coating, with very little change in colour and I didn’t find it to be matte at all, which was disappointing.
However, the Natural Organic lip crayon in shade ‘Pink’was a perfect liner to go under many of my nude lip sticks. It glided on with little pressure and didn’t bleed outside of my lips and was totally smudge proof. The pink colour is great and the formula is lovely. Especially, as it’s natural ingredients.
My first face mask of the box is the SkinActive Moisture Bomb. I’ve been wanting to try this mask from Garnier for along time now. Thankfully, it lived up to the hype! I applied this mask straight away, the eye holes are a little small, but this meant that my dark circles were being treated too! It definitely moisturize and hydrated my skin without any irritation.
Secondly, I picked the MaskerAid mask purely for its fun, quirky packaging! Obviously, the detox element jumped out at me too. I usually apply a face mask on a Sunday, at the end of a busy week. Therefore, a cleanse and detox mask is ideal. When do you have your ‘skin day‘?
Finally, I chose Dirty Works Slanted Tweezers from the ‘accessories’ section. I needed a new pair and when I saw this pink design, I knew I had to have them! They’re stiff, but not too stiff! The slant is perfect for reaching those shorter, fiddly hairs. I like the packaging, it’s good for travel as it is zip locked.
This box would have cost £18.00, but for three monthly products, it costs just £9.00 both including P&P! Boxes are available as one offs too.
