Little Known Box August Review

August’s box was fabulous. I loved that for the first time, you could select a preference of shade for your liquid lipstick. Saturated Colour are one of the best vegan and cruelty free makeup brands around. This time, I selected a peach shade. It has a creamy feel and lasts for a good few hours before needing a top up! But, you have to apply a few layers to get an even coverage.

The orange and grapefruit soap smells lovely! It leaves your hands feeling soft too. Similarly, I used the MonuSpa oil in the bath, to help soften and moisturise my skin. You can also apply it directly to your skin. Either way, it helps to lock in moisture.

The coffee scrub is a great, messy, natural concoction that leaves your skin exfoliated and smooth! You’re best apply over a bath and then showering off. It’s fun to apply and not uncomfortable. Plus, it definitely gets rid of all of your dead skin. It feels like a premium brand, with natural ingredients, no synthetics.

Finally, my favourite product. A Cougar Beauty, contour eye shadow in 6 shades of nude. This is the first product of its kind that I’ve tried. Usually they are blushers or separate shadows. I started in the corner with the lighter shade and graduated out into the darker and along the crease line. I was really happy with the effect. The colour applied easily and didn’t feel overly powdery. With a primer, it lasted all day!

A superb box yet again from http://www.littleknownbox.co.uk

  1. Everything in this box looks good. I have never tried a coffee scrub – do we smell like coffee after using it? The soap must smell good. I also like when we get some interesting makeup stuff. 🙂
